President Erdoğan’s statement on military cargo aircraft crash at Georgia-Azerbaijan border

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement regarding the crash of a C-130 military aircraft that was en route from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border today.

Speaking at the Urbanisation Summit themed 'City and Space in Our Civilisation', held at the AK Party Congress Centre, President Erdoğan made the following remarks regarding the military cargo aircraft that crashed near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border:

"Today, we received with deep sorrow the news that our C-130 military aircraft, travelling from Azerbaijan to our country, has crashed at the Georgia-Azerbaijan border.  Our ongoing efforts, in collaboration with the relevant authorities of the concerned countries, are aimed at locating the wreckage. Inshallah, we will overcome this incident with minimal loss. May Allah have mercy on our martyrs, and may our prayers be with them."
