President Erdoğan sends message to “Life Does Not Accept a Void International Non-Governmental Organisations Summit”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's congratulatory telegram was read at the "Life Does Not Accept a Void International Non-Governmental Organisations Summit," organised with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.

In his congratulatory telegram, President Erdoğan said:

"If we allow a void in people's hearts and minds, all sorts of harmful habits and addictions will take over. We must nurture and bring contentment to both the minds and hearts of our children and our society. We must stand together in the fight against addictions and harmful habits. Guided by the motto ‘Life Does Not Accept a Void', your efforts to unite civic initiatives and to build a sustainable, data-driven civil society capacity across prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and social cohesion processes, are truly commendable. It is noteworthy that the summit seeks to become a tangible starting point in the fight against addiction that enhances the capacity of civil society, places families at the core, and addresses existing voids.

I wholeheartedly congratulate those who contributed to the organisation of the programme and extend my heartfelt greetings to all participants."
