President Erdoğan shares iftar with workers in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with workers during an iftar dinner at Istanbul Shipyard Command.

Addressing workers at the dinner, President Erdoğan voiced his pleasure over coming together with workers at the last iftar of the month of Ramadan, and said: “As a brother of yours who launched into life as a worker, I consider May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day to be a day of mine as well. We wanted to share workers’ joy of Labor and Solidarity Day on this beautiful May evening by meeting with our shipyard workers and representatives of the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions (TÜRK-İŞ) at iftar table.”
