President Erdoğan, Sultan Al Said of Oman talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman.

The call addressed the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global matters.

During the call, President Erdoğan stated that the clashes sparked by Israel’s attacks on Iran pose a significant risk to regional security and that the region cannot possibly endure another war.

President Erdoğan emphasized that the Netanyahu administration has become a global issue of instability and security, that the fact the attacks took place on the eve of the sixth round of nuclear negotiations is thought-provoking, and that Türkiye sees negotiation as the only way to resolve the nuclear dispute.

President Erdoğan also stated during the call that recent developments must not be allowed to overshadow the genocide being carried out by Israel in Gaza.
