President Erdoğan: Thanks to our infrastructure, we are keeping global crises’ repercussions on our country to the minimum

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone, Çamlık Nation’s Garden, Ardıçtepe Dam and other newly-completed projects.

Underscoring that the world was going through the most difficult period since the World War II, President Erdoğan noted that the global political and economic balances of power had been shaken to their foundations, and said: “The economic and social challenges, triggered by the pandemic and the war, have been increasingly transforming into the indications of more drastic changes. This outcome inevitably affects our country as well. Türkiye’s difference, however, is that it has predicted this process well in advance due to the attacks it has been faced with and the challenges it has been dealing with.”

President Erdoğan stated: “Thanks to the infrastructure we have built, the measures we have taken and the mechanisms we have implemented, we are keeping the repercussions of global crises on our country to the minimum. What is more, we take steps that will set an example to the world in many areas. Thanks to the strength of our healthcare system, we have assumed such a mission during the pandemic. As a result of our own economic growth model we have developed with our production potential, we are playing a similar role during the economic crisis.”
