President Erdoğan: The climate of stability and confidence should be maintained in order for our country to remain powerful

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke during a campaign rally in the province of Sakarya in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

“THE REASON WHY WE ARE ENDEAVORING SO HARD IS BECAUSE WE LOVE OUR PEOPLE”

Pointing out that he has held 71 rallies in 39 days as part of the election campaign, President Erdoğan stressed that they work so hard not because they aim to win just a couple or three more municipalities but because they love the country.

“The reason why we are endeavoring so hard is because we love our people. We know that we have to keep our country powerful in order to prevent any harm to even an inch of our soil or even a single member of our nation. And we know that in order for our country to remain powerful, the climate of stability and confidence should be maintained,” the President said, highlighting the importance of the upcoming local elections for the future of the country.

Emphasizing that the stability in Turkey cannot be put at jeopardy at a time when the Syria issue has come to the point of the establishment of a terror corridor along Turkey’s southern borders, President Erdoğan added that the state shouldn’t be undermined while the attacks against the country from outside keep escalating in every area.

“THE MURDERER IN NEW ZEALAND HAS THE SAME GOAL AS OTHER BLOODTHIRSTY TERRORISTS”

President Erdoğan, in reference to the terrorist attack in New Zealand, said: “Some in our country may have forgotten the victories and defeats in our own history. Yet, the foreigner, seemingly, hasn’t forgotten any of them. What is more, he takes them all to the year of 2019 and writes them on his weapon.” The President added that the murderer in New Zealand has the same goal as the separatist terrorist organization and other bloodthirsty terrorists.
