President Erdoğan: The Turkish economy continues to be a safe harbor for international investors

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the PepsiCo and Tirsan Kardan factories in Manisa.

“NO ONE WHO TRUSTS AND INVESTS IN TURKEY HAS REGRET IT”

Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the PepsiCo factory, President Erdoğan said that the company’s building its sixth production facility in Manisa is a sign of the trust in the Turkish economy, and added: “As we have always expressed, no one who believes, trusts and invests in Turkey, with Allah’s permission, has or will regret it. The Turkish economy continues to be a safe harbor for international investors despite all the instabilities that have occurred in its environ. We want all other international corporations to enjoy the opportunities provided by our country, just like PepsiCo.”

“TURKISH INVESTMENTS ABROAD HAVE REACHED 38 BILLION DOLLARS”

Also touching upon the Turkish investments abroad, President Erdoğan underlined that the Turkish investments abroad have reached 38 billion dollars, adding that the total value of the projects undertaken by Turkish contractors has neared 372 billion dollars in 122 countries. President Erdoğan noted: “Today, we have thousands of businesspeople who wave our flag with pride all across the world. From Africa and Asia to Europe and South America you come across with products of Turkish origin. Our people who previously used to immigrate abroad due to the struggle to make a living now go abroad as businesspeople, industrialists, exporters and company owners. Turkish entrepreneurs generate jobs for 173 thousand people across the world, nearly 18 thousand of whom are Turks and 155 thousand of whom are local personnel.”
