President Erdoğan: The Turkish higher education system has reached an advanced level thanks to our investments in infrastructure and human resources

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the annexes of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University’s Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Çayeli Faculty of Education.

“Inshallah, Turkey will achieve its goals for 2023, become one of the 10 largest economies in the world, go to space and become a regional and global leader. We believe that,” President Erdoğan underlined.

“The Turkish higher education system has reached a truly advanced level today thanks to our investments in infrastructure and human resources,” President Erdoğan said, noting that the number of universities had risen from 76 to 207 and the number of university students from 1,600,000 to 8,400,000 in the past 18 years.

“WE HAVE BOOSTED TURKEY’S PRESTIGE IN EVERY AREA”

“Over 200,000 foreign students have preferred to come to Turkey for higher education, which is another indicator of Turkey’s success,” President Erdoğan said.

“We have made the greatest progress in infrastructure in the history of our country. We have elevated our country to a prestigious level in every area from security to diplomacy,” President Erdoğan noted.
