President Erdoğan: Turkey continues to further develop and progress in line with its 2023 goals

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at a campaign rally in the Balıkesir in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.
Making remarks on the upcoming local elections, President Erdoğan said that as AK Party, they have moved Turkey up to the 13th place in terms of purchasing power parity, and that they have made an investment of over 27 billion liras in Balıkesir over the past 16 years. President Erdoğan elaborated that among these investments are 3,489 new classrooms, Bandırma 17 Eylül University, dormitories for 4,672 students and 66 healthcare facilities.

Stating that Turkey continues to further develop, grow and progress in line with its 2023 goals, President Erdoğan noted: “In addition to this, Turkey, with all its strength, continues to struggle both on the ground and at the table in the face of the historic developments occurring in its region. Moreover, we are managing this process in a critical period during which we have switched to our new system of government.” President Erdoğan further stressed that with the reforms they have realized one after another, they are preparing Turkey for greater struggles in the future.
