President Erdoğan: Turkey has made no concession on the democratic rule of law despite all the attacks

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the meeting of the party’s provincial heads.

“ELECTORAL BODIES IN TURKEY SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM THEIR DUTIES UNDER THE PROTECTION OF THE JUDICIARY”

Underlining that Turkey has made no concession on the democratic rule of law despite all the attacks and traps, President Erdoğan said: “One of the realms where the principle of the democratic rule of law functions best is our elections, a venue reflecting the national will. Electoral bodies in Turkey successfully perform their duties under the protection of the judiciary.”

“TURKEY’S GROWTH IN 2018 WILL COME OUT WAY ABOVE THE ESTIMATES DESPITE THE PLOT AGAINST OUR COUNTRY” 

Recalling that a major foreign attack was staged on Turkey last year through foreign exchange and interest rates, President Erdoğan stated: “Turkey’s growth rate in 2018 will come out way above the estimates despite the plot conspired last year against our country through the triangle of foreign exchange, interest and inflation. We achieved 4.5% growth rate in the first three quarters. We, moreover, have set quite realistic goals for 2019 in line with our new economic program, the principles of which we have designated as rebalancing, discipline and change.”
