President Erdoğan: Turkey has the power and capability to pursue independent policies

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the Menemen-Aliağa-Çandarlı Highway in Izmir.

Delivering a speech at the inauguration, President Erdoğan said: “Turkey has the power and capability to pursue independent policies and implement them on the ground. We use at the highest level both our political and diplomatic power, and military if need be, in the struggles we are waging. We do whatever is necessary and mobilize all our means to change the course of events both at the table and on the ground.”

Following the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan visited the Kınık and Bergama districts of Izmir respectively, and addressed citizens there.

Later in the day, the President inaugurated a ceramic tile factory in the Kemalpaşa district of Izmir.
