President Erdoğan: Turkey is the symbol of peace and security for millions of people across the world

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke during a campaign rally in the province of Kocaeli in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

“WE HAVE TO BE STRONG NOT ONLY FOR OURSELVES BUT ALSO FOR ALL OUR NEIGHBORS”

Underscoring that the latest incidents have shown that there is no option for Turkey other than being and staying strong, President Erdoğan noted: “If Turkey stumbles, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Arakan and Bosnia and Herzegovina will stumble, too. If the Turkish people grows weak, the Al-Quds cause, the Palestinian cause, and the justice cause will also grow weak.”

Further stressing that Turkey is the symbol of peace, tranquility and security for millions of people across the world, President Erdoğan went on to say: “Turkey is the name of the ultimate safe harbor where our brothers from the Balkans and the Caucasus to Turkistan and Africa take shelter in when they are in trouble. We have to be strong not only for ourselves and our expatriates but also for all our neighbors and cognates.”
