President Erdoğan: Turkey will forge trade and cultural partnerships with Latin American countries
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the meeting of AK Party’s provincial heads.
Commencing his speech by marking the December 5 Women’s Rights Day, President Erdoğan said: “On this day of our women, which marks the 84th anniversary of the enfranchisement of the women in our country, I would like to reiterate that we stand by our women in their struggle. During the AK Party administrations, our women have achieved gains of historic importance in every field ranging from politics and economy to education and healthcare.”
TURKEY TO FORGE NEW TIES WITH LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
Recalling the Latin America tour he had last week covering Argentina, Paraguay and Venezuela, President Erdoğan noted that Turkey, during the AK Party administrations, launched opening policies towards different geographies of the world that had previously been neglected. Referring to Latin America and the Caribbean as the regions included in these opening policies of Turkey, President Erdoğan stressed that Turkey, as a country that is not introverted but open to the world, will forge trade and cultural partnerships with Latin American countries, too, as it has done with Africa.
“WE WILL FULLY ABANDON PROPAGANDA METHODS THAT CAUSE VISUAL AND NOISE POLLUTION”
Also touching upon the electoral method the AK Party will pursue in the run-up to the municipal elections scheduled for March 31st, 2019, President Erdoğan stated: “Starting with the March 31st, 2019 electoral period, we will fully abandon propaganda methods that cause visual and noise pollution. We have decided to conduct an electoral campaign that is respectful of the environment and the human.”
