President Erdoğan visits Heydar Aliyev’s mausoleum, martyrs’ memorial in Baku

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev’s mausoleum as well as Turkish and Azerbaijani martyrs’ memorial in Baku.

President Erdoğan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev first visited Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev’s mausoleum. Afterwards, the two leaders proceeded to the martyrs’ memorial. After laying a wreath at the memorial, President Erdoğan and President Aliyev signed the Book of Honor, marking the solidarity between two countries and the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation following a 44-day-long glorious fight.
