President Erdoğan vote at Saffet Çebi Middle School in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan cast their votes in the rerun of Istanbul mayoral election at Saffet Çebi Middle School in the Uskudar district of Istanbul.

Answering reporters’ questions after voting his vote, President Erdoğan noted that the incidents witnessed during the March 31 mayoral elections led the Supreme Election Council to rule for a rerun. Expressing his wish for the mayoral rerun to yield auspicious results for the country, President Erdoğan stated that he expects high turnout.
