President Erdoğan: We aim for transition into normal life following Eid al-Fitr

 

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) held via videoconference.

Stating that Turkey, just like the entire world, is engaged in an intensive struggle against the coronavirus pandemic, President Erdoğan underscored that Turkey stands out with its strong healthcare infrastructure as well as the measures it has timely taken as opposed to other countries affected by the pandemic, and noted that the pandemic has now reached a plateau in Turkey.

President Erdoğan said: “We aim for transition into normal life following Eid al-Fitr by ensuring strict adherence to the measures throughout Ramadan. Being prepared for the new situations that would take shape in our country, region and the world after the pandemic is as important as combatting it.”
