President Erdoğan: We aim to elevate our country to the highest level in the restructured global system of production and logistics
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at an opening ceremony in Eskişehir.
“BOTH OUR DOORS AND HEARTS ARE WIDE OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WOULD INVEST IN TURKEY”
Noting that the 52 factories and facilities newly-inaugurated in the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone have a total investment value of TL1.6 billion, President Erdoğan said: “Both our doors and hearts are wide open to anyone who would invest in and bring technology to our country and would contribute to exports, growth and employment in Turkey. In this spirit, we aim to elevate our country to the highest level in the global system of production and logistics which has been restructured during the pandemic. Investment means production, exports and employment; it means lower current account deficit and higher national income as well as bigger wealth for the people.”
Stating that Turkey gets one step closer to its goals with every newly-built factory and with every newly-created employment, President Erdoğan stressed that it wasn’t easy for Turkey to obtain its current position. “Our country has gained this power thanks to the investments we have made over the past 19 years in every area extending from education to healthcare, security to judiciary, industry to energy, and transport to urbanization.”

Also touching upon the summoning of the ambassadors of 10 countries to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following a joint statement on an ongoing legal case in Turkey, President Erdoğan underlined that Turkey is not a tribal state. “I gave the necessary instruction to our foreign minister and said what must be done. ‘These 10 ambassadors must be declared persona non grata at once. You shall sort it out immediately,’ I told him. They must understand and know about Turkey; the day they don’t, they will go.”
