President Erdoğan: We aim to start in-person classes in higher education as soon as possible

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of academic year 2020-2021 at Beştepe People’s Convention and Culture Center.

Underlining the importance of maintaining academic education without interruption even if under difficult circumstances caused by the pandemic, President Erdoğan said: “Experience in distance learning is of course precious; however, it undoubtedly cannot replace formal education. We aim to start in-person classes in higher education as soon as possible just like in other educational stages.”
