President Erdoğan: We are building in Yusufeli the third biggest dam of the world

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech during an opening ceremony of the newly-introduced services and facilities in the Black Sea province of Artvin.

Pointing to the total investment value of the newly-introduced services and facilities, which is 1.252 billion Turkish liras, President Erdoğan noted that among these services and facilities are a higher vocational school, dormitory buildings, a library and Borçka State Hospital.

President Erdoğan went on to say: “Now, we are building in Yusufeli the third biggest dam of the world. The Yusufeli Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant will produce 1.888 billion kilowatt-hour of energy a year and contribute 450 million liras to our economy annually.”
