President Erdoğan: We are resolute to make the best use of our rights over natural gas and oil in the East Mediterranean and the Black Sea

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens during a campaign rally in the province of Rize in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

Making remarks on the upcoming local elections, President Erdoğan said they have made TL18-billion worth of investment in Rize over the past 17 years, and elaborated that among these investments are 1,800 new classrooms, university dormitories for 4,526 students, swimming pools, youth centers and sport halls.

NATURAL GAS AND OIL EXPLORATION WORKS IN THE EAST MEDITERRANEAN AND THE BLACK SEA

Pointing also to the natural gas and oil exploration works carried out in the East Mediterranean and the Black Sea, President Erdoğan said: “As Turkey, we are resolute to make the best use of our rights over natural gas and oil in the East Mediterranean and Black Sea. Our ships, the Fatih and the Yavuz, are important steps taken to that end. The business of drilling is one part luck and one part technics. Not all who seek find, but the ones who find are definitely the ones who seek. We will, inshallah, seek and find. I believe that the days are very near when our ships shall give us the good news.”
