President Erdoğan: We carry on moving forward on our path with the courage we take from our people

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at an opening ceremony of the newly-built facilities in the Sultangazi district of Istanbul.

President Erdoğan said: “We have overcome all the setbacks we have suffered thanks to our strong communion with the people. And today, we carry on moving forward on our path with the courage we take from our people without bowing down to sanction threats, economic traps and military shows of strength.”

“Turkey still march towards its goals at a time when the world is drifting away into the dark unknown because of trade wars and diplomatic tricks,” President Erdoğan went on to say, and added: “Those disturbed by our country’s stability and firm stance seek to use every opportunity inside to spark crises.”

“I CONDEMN THE HUMANITY WHO JUST STOOD BY AND WATCHED MORSI OVERTHROWN BY A COUP AND, ULTIMATELY, PASS AWAY”

Touching upon former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi’s death at the courtroom during trial, President Erdoğan said: “I strongly condemn the West and the humanity who just stood by and watched democratically-elected Morsi overthrown by a coup, persecuted in solitary confinement and, ultimately, pass away.”
