President Erdoğan: We have prepared projects for 404 nation’s gardens in our 81 provinces
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated Hekimbaşı Nation’s Garden in Istanbul’s district of Ümraniye.
Wishing for Hekimbaşı Nation’s Garden to be auspicious for the country, President Erdoğan said: “We had formerly made a promise for two nation’s gardens with an area of 490 thousand square meters in Ümraniye. Hekimbaşı Nation’s Garden, which we are putting into service today, will hopefully become one of the symbolic venues of Ümraniye. This place appeals to our citizens of all ages with its coffeehouses, scenery terrace, bicycle and walking paths, playground, sports areas, picnic sites, fruit and vegetable plots and many more facilities.”
Noting that new services will be implemented in order to raise the Istanbulites’ life standards in line with the Green Development Revolution, the first goal of Turkey’s vision for 2053, President Erdoğan stated: “Thus far, we have prepared projects for 404 nation’s gardens with a total area of 66 million square meters in our 81 provinces. We have completed and put into service 111 of them. We aim to have completed all of the 404 nation’s gardens projects by 2023.”
