President Erdoğan: We have seen the strength of our healthcare infrastructure during the pandemic

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech during a welfare appointment ceremony at the Presidential Complex.

President Erdoğan said: “The strength of Turkey’s service infrastructure and the magnitude of its social state feature manifest themselves much better in times of crisis. We have not only seen the strength of our healthcare infrastructure and general health insurance during the pandemic, but also tested the inclusivity of our social support system.” 

Also drawing attention to the over 46 billion liras’ worth of financial support provided within the social protection shield during the same period, President Erdoğan, with regard to Turkey’s vaccine supply works, noted: “Alhamdulillah, we have swiftly started to receive our vaccines thanks to the steps we have taken and the payments we have made. 50 million doses of vaccine will arrive in our country at the first stage. We have also quickly launched the inoculation process, which still continues.”
