President Erdoğan: We have successfully overcome many challenges thanks to our development infrastructure
President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a meeting of the party’s provincial heads in Ankara.
Drawing attention to the 2023 elections, President Erdoğan said the elections would be held during a period when the administrative and economic systems in the world were being shaken to the core by global crises, and that this great shock, whose first sign had been the 2008 global finance crisis and which had reached a new stage with the pandemic, had then acquired a security dimension, too, with the Ukraine-Russia war.
Underscoring that besides the threats it had presented, the global crisis had offered some important opportunities for Türkiye as well, President Erdoğan stated: “Thanks to the democracy and development infrastructure we have built in our country over the past 20 years, we have successfully overcome many challenges. Fighting the tutelage order and coup enthusiasts, we have established the rule of national will in an indisputable manner. We have extended the projects and services, which will eliminate the century-old backwardness of our country, to every field, and one by one implemented them. We have provided our nation with the highest-standard services in all areas, from education, healthcare and transportation to energy, agriculture and sports. We have adorned every inch of the motherland with our works.”
