President Erdoğan: We neither respect nor allow those who disrespect our adhan and our flag

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke during a campaign rally in the province of Hakkari in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

“HAKKARI HAS MADE GREAT PROGRESS IN A VERY SHORT PERIOD”

“I am happy to be in Hakkari once again after 1.5 years and I see Hakkari has made great progress in a very short period of time,” President Erdoğan said.

“We respect all differences, all colors in Turkey. However, we also expect our values to be respected. We neither respect nor allow those who disrespect our adhan and our flag,” President Erdoğan said.

“We are inseparable even thought that fact disturbs terrorists. We are all together Turkey even thought that fact disturbs separatists. No one can underestimate our brotherhood. No one can set Turkey and Kurds, Arabs and Turkmens against each other. No one can compartmentalize Turkey or operate on our lands,” President Erdoğan underscored.

“Our March of Independence is our red line. Rabia is our red line. No one, no matter their name or title, has the right to violate these red lines. No one has the luxury of insulting our sacred and shared values. It is our duty of honor to fight against those, disregarding and defaming them, within the boundaries of democracy and law,” President Erdoğan said.

President Erdoğan also noted that they have invested TL11 billion in Hakkari in the last 17 years.
