President Erdoğan: We stand strong today thanks to our achievements in the past 18 years
President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed in person the party’s 7th ordinary provincial congress in İzmir and its congresses in Hakkari and Nevşehir via videoconference.
Noting that Turkey has paid off its debt to the IMF and currently holds 95 billion dollars forex reserves, President Erdoğan said Turkey has managed to successfully deal with the economic impacts of the pandemic thanks to the effective and quick measures taken at a time when the global economy contracted in every area from production to employment.
Turkey has not neglected steps for democracy and development while also fighting against those targeting the country, President Erdoğan sad. “Today, if we still stand strong despite all the hardships from the pandemic to terror, if we still look to the future with confidence and continue walking towards great goals, we owe it to our achievements in the past 18 years.”
