President Erdoğan: We support all kinds of quality works which will put additional value into Turkey’s cultural and artistic world

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at the opening event of Ankara State Art and Sculpture Museum.

President Erdoğan thanked all who had contributed to the restoration of the museum building.

“WE EMBRACE EVERYTHING THAT BELONGS TO THESE LANDS AS A RICHNESS OF TURKEY”

“Just like a tree, whose roots are dried out, can no longer stand, societies, whose ties to their pasts are weakened, cannot build the future. The stronger and deeper our ties to our history and our geography are, the mightier we can stand against the raging winds,” President Erdoğan said.

“Just like we do not discriminate among our people, we do not discriminate among our artists or branches of art,” President Erdoğan said, underscoring that they tried to embrace everything that belonged to these lands as a richness of Turkey. “We support all kinds of quality works which will put additional value into Turkey’s cultural and artistic world and boost diversity in this area.”
