President Erdoğan: We will continue our endeavors knowing that technological independence is the assurance of political independence

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the Awards Ceremony of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) held at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center.

President Erdoğan said: “We will continue our endeavors knowing that technological independence is the assurance of political independence. The strength of a country is now measured by its efficacy in technology. Today, the whole world is talking about our progress in defense industry. Studies which show that Türkiye spearheads the countries shaping the future of the region are shared more than ever.”
