President Erdoğan: We will continue to take whatever steps necessary in line with Atatürk’s goal to elevate Turkey above the level of contemporary civilization
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a commemoration ceremony on the 83rd anniversary of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing to eternity.
President Erdoğan began his address as follows: “I remember with respect and grace the commander-in-chief of the War of Independence and the founder of our Republic, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 83rd anniversary of his passing to eternity. I wish Allah’s mercy upon all the martyrs, veterans and heroes, who fought and sacrificed their lives without any hesitation, since the Victory of Manzikert, to make these lands our homeland.”

Voicing his gratitude to all, who worked to support, develop and advance the Republic since the very first day the Grand National Assembly convened, notably the founding cadre, President Erdoğan said: “We aim to elevate our country up to a level befitting our nation’s dreams and our ancestors’ legacy on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic. To this end, we work to build upon the robust infrastructure we established in every area from education to healthcare, from security to technology a Turkey that has a say in the premier league of the world with its political and economic power.”
“Mustafa Kemal actively fought anywhere necessitated by our nation’s struggle for its independence and future. Moreover, he closely monitored Europe and the world to get ahead of developments,” President Erdoğan said.

President Erdoğan continued his speech as follows: “Yes, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal’s this journey is a roadmap of today’s Turkey. Turkey is in Syria today, as well. Turkey is in Libya today, as well. Turkey is in the Caucasus today, as well. Today, Turkey is carrying out a leading diplomatic campaign in Europe and the world.”
“We will continue to make any investment, take any step and strive against anyone necessary in line with Atatürk’s goal to elevate Turkey above the level of contemporary civilization. With Allah’s help and our glorious nation’s support, we will certainly achieve Turkey’s goals for 2023, and will entrust our vision for 2053 to the next generations,” President Erdoğan said.
