President Erdoğan: We will determinedly continue our fight against terror

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered reporters’ questions on his way out of the Bezmialem Sultan Mosque in Istanbul, where he performed the Friday prayer.

Answering a question on the terror attack in the Kulp district of Diyarbakır, President Erdoğan said that Turkey’s fight against terror will be determinedly continued, and added: “I believe that in the end, the Republic of Turkey, together with its military, police, gendarmerie and security forces, will come out victorious.”

TURKEY-RUSSIA-IRAN TRILATERAL SUMMIT

Asked about the Turkey-Russia-Iran Trilateral Summit to be held in Ankara next Monday, President Erdoğan stated that the recent developments in Idlib, including the observation posts and the fight against terrorist organizations therein, will be discussed at the Summit.

The President also stressed that the U.S. attitude towards PYD/YPG terrorist organization in the region is of paramount importance to Turkey, and noted that he will most probably hold a talk with President Donald Trump of the U.S. on the sidelines of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly, and will address these issues with him.

Responding to a question on the demonstration that mothers are staging in Diyarbakır to save their children from the terrorist organization, President Erdoğan underlined that they, as the state, stand with the mothers and closely follow the process.
