President Erdoğan: We will do our utmost to make June a month of vaccination campaign

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

“TURKEY HAS DULY FULFILLED ITS RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ORGANIZATIONS”

Recalling his meeting with President Andrzej Duda of Poland last week, President Erdoğan said that with the agreement signed between the two countries following the talks, Turkey will be exporting its unmanned aerial vehicles to a NATO and EU member state for the first time in its history, and added: “Turkey has duly fulfilled its responsibilities to the international security organizations that it is a member of, NATO in particular. As long as we are treated the same way by these organizations, we are determined to increasingly continue our relations and cooperation.”

“WE WILL INTRODUCE OUR OWN VACCINE BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR”

Pointing to the ongoing global economic challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic, President Erdoğan underscored that Turkey is one of the leading countries providing the most effective, broadest and highest support to their people in proportion to their national incomes.

Also touching upon the vaccination programme, President Erdoğan noted: “We are one of the top ten countries in vaccine administration. What is more, we have achieved this as a country that has yet to produce vaccine. We will inshallah introduce our own vaccine before the end of this year. We will do our utmost to make June a month of vaccination campaign.”
