President Erdoğan: We will move forward on our path with investment and production-oriented growth strategy

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.

“TURKEY’S DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE HAS BEEN A DYNAMIC PROCESS”

President Erdoğan said: “Turkey’s democracy and development initiative, which has left its mark on our country’s past 19 years, has been a dynamic process of successive steps. We are now at a new stage of this dynamic process. This new policy, within which we will move forward on our path with investment, production, employment and export-oriented growth strategy, has not just emerged out of nowhere. Every project we have introduced in our country, every service we have provided to our citizens, every investment we have made and every balance we have established in the macroeconomics over the past 19 years has each been a preparation for this initiative.”

“TURKEY DETERMINEDLY ADVANCES TOWARDS ITS GOALS”

Drawing attention to Turkey’s 7.4 per cent of growth rate in the third quarter of 2021, President Erdoğan stated: “With this growth rate, we rank first within the G20. Also, our national income has increased by 7.8 per cent compared to the same period of last year. It is of great importance that the increase in export of goods and services export has reached 25.6 per cent, and the decrease in imports has reached 8.3 per cent. A significant part of the growth we have achieved this year has originated from exportation. Turkey, whose nearly $216-billion annual exports have left behind an import coverage ratio of 83 percent, determinedly advances towards its goals.”
