President Erdoğan: We will not allow a terror state to be established in the north of Syria

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with executives of newspapers, televisions and news agencies at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul.

Making remarks on Operation Peace Spring during a meeting with executives of newspapers, televisions and news agencies, President Erdoğan said: “Let me underline that our operation does not target the Kurds but PKK and its extension PYD/YPG. In short, we do not and will not allow a terror state to be established in the north of Syria.”
