President Erdoğan: We will strive to protect our people’s honor and dignity

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke during a campaign rally in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul in the run-up to the local elections scheduled for March 31, 2019.

“Following the terrorist attack in New Zealand, I immediately sent my Vice President and Foreign Minister there. Even if it is 16 500 kilometers away, it is still our wound. 50 Muslims were martyred there. We have to be there,” President Erdoğan said.

“We will strive to protect our people’s and our Ummah’s honor and dignity, if need be, at the cost of our lives,” President Erdoğan underscored.
