President Erdoğan: We work to make our children more qualified and better equipped for the future
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech during the 20th National Education Forum at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center.
“WE WANT OUR SUCCESS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE PANDEMIC TO INCREASINGLY CONTINUE IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD”
Describing the national education forum as a platform where critical recommendations are made for the education community including teachers, students and their families, President Erdoğan said: “The 20th Education Forum, held under the theme of ‘Equal Opportunity in Education,’ will also be a meeting during which decisions will be made that can serve as a roadmap in the period ahead. I wholeheartedly believe that the results of the forum will guide us in our efforts for ‘Strong Education, Strong Turkey.’
Drawing attention to Turkey’s success in the fight against the pandemic, President Erdoğan stated that the education in the country continued without interruption during the pandemic thanks to the opportunities offered by technology, and said: “We have successfully managed the process in every area from production and trade to tourism and public order within the framework of our own policies. We want our success in the fight against the pandemic to increasingly continue in the post-pandemic period as well. The way to this, we know, is through increased quality in education.”
The President added: “We seek to solve the problems and correct the mistakes. We work to make all of our children more qualified and better equipped for the future.”
