“There is not any step within our efforts for a terror-free Türkiye that would cast a shadow over the memory of our martyrs”
Addressing AK Party’s group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “By achieving the goal of a terror-free region following the terror-free Türkiye, we will honor the memory of our martyrs and show it to all, foes and friends alike, that our martyrs’ sacrifices have not gone to waste. As I have repeatedly stressed, there is not, and cannot be, any step within our efforts for a terror-free Türkiye that would cast a shadow over the memory of our martyrs or hurt their spirit.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT).
Noting that the group meeting is taking place amid a profound sorrow because of the martyrdom of 12 soldiers in the area of the Operation Claw-Lock, President Erdoğan said: “I offer my condolences to our soldiers’ relatives, comrades-in-arms, and our august nation. I wish a speedy recovery to our soldiers who are still under treatment, and kiss them all in the eye. I hereby also remember with mercy all our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, and offer my gratitude to our ghazis.”
President Erdoğan continued: “We never have and never will forget that this heavenly country and this glorious flag have been entrusted to us by our heroic martyrs and ghazis. By achieving the goal of a terror-free region following the terror-free Türkiye, we will honor the memory of our martyrs and show it to all, foes and friends alike, that our martyrs’ sacrifices have not gone to waste. As I have repeatedly stressed, there is not, and cannot be, any step within our efforts for a terror-free Türkiye that would cast a shadow over the memory of our martyrs or hurt their spirit.”
“WE ARE ABOUT TO RID TÜRKİYE OF A HALF-CENTURY TROUBLE”
President Erdoğan stated: “Guided by the values for which our martyrs have sacrificed their lives, we are about to rid Türkiye of a half-century trouble and rip off the bloody shackles put on our country’s feet. We are carrying our history of brotherhood, shaped by the sacrifices of our martyrs, into the future in a much stronger manner.”
“I would like my citizens to rest assured that once the wall of terrorism is obliterated, everything will be much more different. More bloodshed and more suffering will be averted, which will first benefit Türkiye in its entirety, including Turks, Kurds, and Arabs, and then the whole region along with our brothers and sisters therein. This is the principle we adhere to in whatever we do,” President Erdoğan said.
President Erdoğan added: “On Monday, we received Deputy Parliament Speaker from DEM Party Mrs. Pervin Buldan and Şanlıurfa Deputy Mr. Mithat Sancar at the Presidential Complex. We had a very productive, constructive and sincere meeting. We reaffirmed our determination to put into practice our goal of a terror-free Türkiye. We are now stepping into a new phase when we will be receiving good news in the upcoming days. We hope this auspicious process will be concluded successfully as soon as possible, without any setbacks and without allowing it to be sabotaged by dark circles.”
