Turkey-Russia-Iran Trilateral Summit will be held in Turkey

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered reporters’ questions on his way out of the Hazrat Ali Mosque in Istanbul’s Üsküdar district, where he performed the Friday prayer.

Answering a question on the explosion that took place in a vehicle in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay, said it is obvious that the vehicle was laden with bomb, and that he was briefed by the Minister of Interior that the explosion has claimed three lives. President Erdoğan, referring to the ongoing investigations, noted that according to the initial findings, the explosion is believed to be a terrorist act.

President Erdoğan, in response to a question, said a trilateral summit will be held in Turkey in late August or early September with the participation of Turkey, Russia and Iran, and that relevant issues, Idlib in particular, will be discussed during the summit.

Underscoring that Turkey and Russia are doing their best with regard to Idlib, President Erdoğan noted that the relations regarding some areas related to the U.S., as well, are being conducted between Foreign Ministers.
