“Türkiye favors peace and stability”
Addressing the graduation ceremony of commando specialist corporals and sergeants, President Erdoğan said: “The Republic of Türkiye favors peace and stability. Türkiye sincerely wants peace to prevail in all its neighbors, without exception, and across the region.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed via videoconference the graduation ceremony of commando specialist corporals and sergeants from the Presidential Complex.
“TÜRKİYE SINCERELY WANTS PEACE TO PREVAIL ACROSS THE REGION”
Congratulating each and every one of the 2,094 commando specialist corporals and sergeants, who have successfully completed the 18-week difficult training process, President Erdoğan wished them great success during their duties, and said: “Never forget that the Republic of Türkiye favors peace and stability. Türkiye sincerely wants peace to prevail in all its neighbors, without exception, and across the region. We by no means want new crises to erupt in our region, which has been grappling with instabilities and conflicts for years. We believe that a new climate, at the center of which peace and security are placed, to prevail in the near environment of our country, from our north to south, east to west.”
President Erdoğan added that Türkiye wants the oppression and massacre in Gaza to end, peace to finally prevail in Syria and the Russia-Ukraine war to end with a just peace.
“WE HAVE NEUTRALIZED THE ORGANIZATION’S PRESENCE IN TÜRKİYE”
Underscoring that they have started to reap the fruits of the efforts exerted in the fight against terror, as is the case in different areas, from economy to foreign policy, President Erdoğan noted: “Through the successful operations we have carried out, we have neutralized the organization’s presence and its capacity to carry out acts in Türkiye. We have almost eliminated terror at its source with our cross-border operations to the north of Syria and Iraq. We are now carrying all this to a different stage. We, as the alliance and the government, are taking steps, which will further strengthen our brotherhood, to achieve our goal of terror-free Türkiye.”
President Erdoğan stressed that once the goal is achieved, a totally new page will be opened up before Türkiye, and that yet another keystone of the Century of Türkiye will be put in its place.
