“Türkiye has obtained a historic opportunity to solve its chronic problem”
Speaking at AK Party’s 24th foundation anniversary event, President Erdoğan said: “Our ghazis and the families of our martyrs know why we have taken such a risk. Our opponents and adversaries, in the similar vein, know what a terror-free Türkiye means. I hereby reiterate that Türkiye has obtained a historic opportunity to solve its most chronic problem. We will not allow it to be wasted.”

“WE HAVE LEFT OUR MARK ON EVERY INCH OF OUR 81 PROVINCES THROUGH A HISTORIC MOBILIZATION OF INVESTMENTS”
President Erdoğan said: “I would like to state with great pride that we made a new beginning and opened a brand new path in Türkiye 24 years ago today. With Allah’s blessing, our nation’s support and our youths’ backing, we have not dashed the hopes of those who have believed in us since August 14, having rather increased, boosted and strengthened those hopes. We have left our mark on every inch of our 81 provinces through a historic mobilization of investments, services, works and projects.”
“WE AIM TO FULLY ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY AND THREAT OF TERROR”
Drawing attention to the terror-free Türkiye process, President Erdoğan stated: “With the process, we aim not only to resolve the terror problem but also to fully eliminate the possibility and threat of terror. We want to take down this wall erected among the nation, reinforce our eternal brotherhood, and build the future together. A very significant distance has been covered in a short span of time in this process, which we initiated together as the People’s Alliance and then managed together as a state policy. The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Committee enabled the largest possible participation of the Parliament in the process. Its first three meetings took place in a quite fruitful climate. We hope the preservation of this constructive atmosphere. Displaying a sincere stance for the success of the process, the People’s Alliance has shown that it is on the side of solution and dialogue. We hope other political parties will also act in good faith. I hope and wish that this sense of responsibility towards the people will get stronger and stronger in the area of politics. We don’t have to agree on every issue; yet, we are obliged to turn the terror-free Türkiye into a reality.”

“WE ARE COMMITTED TO ESTABLISHING A ‘ZONE OF PEACE, SECURITY, AND STABILITY’ BOTH WITHIN OUR BORDERS AND BEYOND”
Pointing to the steps taken to consolidate the state’s institutional capacity and enhance Türkiye’s strategic capabilities in the areas of security, defense, foreign policy and economy, President Erdoğan added: “It is also a well-known fact that, while a new game is being staged in our region, a new equation is being established in the world. It is now openly stated that Türkiye is being encircled by a ‘zone of instability’. The perpetrators of the genocide in Gaza do not even feel the need to conceal their intentions toward our country. Across Syria to the Eastern Mediterranean, and extending from the Balkans to Africa, we are all witnessing clear indications of this ‘anti-Türkiye’ policy. We are, of course, aware of what is being attempted. We also possess ample power, foresight, experience, and determination to break through the attempts at encirclement. Thankfully, we are foiling this policy aimed at weakening our country from within and wearing it down from outside. We are committed to establishing a ‘zone of peace, security, and stability’ both within our borders and beyond.”
