“Türkiye is leaving its mark in history with the strategic steps it takes at home and abroad”

 

Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “History is being remade in our region, from Syria to Palestine. Our own next century is being shaped together with that of our brothers and sisters. Türkiye, with the strategic steps it takes at home and abroad, and with its policies that focus on people, is sealing its place and leaving its mark in history.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.

Commencing his speech by recalling the hotel fire that took place in Bolu Kartalkaya ski resort last week, President Erdoğan once again wished Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the fire, and stressed that they will never hesitate to do whatever is necessary to bring those responsible for the fire to justice.

“WE ARE REVIVING OUR HOPES AND FUTURE AS WELL”

Drawing attention to the reconstruction works in the quake-hit region, President Erdoğan said that they work selflessly to immediately provide the quake-victim citizens with safe, modern and comfortable homes, and added: “We are reviving not only our collapsed cities, but also our hopes and future through our efforts that we call the construction of the century. We have turned our quake-hit region into the world’s biggest construction site, so to speak. 182 thousand architects, engineers and workers have been working to turn a new page and to build a safe and steady future for our nation at the 1,900 construction sites built in 174 different areas in our 11 cities and 4,333 villages.”

“We have invested over TL2.6 trillion in the quake-hit region thus far, that is we have allocated some $75 billion to there. And we have spared a total of TL584 billion from the 2025 budget to entirely remove the traces of the disaster. We are reviving the region in all areas, from economy, industry and trade to agriculture, infrastructure and social projects,” President Erdoğan said.

Stating that they endeavor to build the new Türkiye where next generations will lead a happy, prosperous, reputable and peaceful life, President Erdoğan noted that they will make Türkiye one of the dynamos of its region and the world, and continued as follows: “History is being remade in our region, from Syria to Palestine. Our own next century is being shaped together with that of our brothers and sisters. Türkiye, with the strategic steps it takes at home and abroad, and with its policies that focus on people, is sealing its place and leaving its mark in history. The shining star of the Afro-Eurasia region, which is the heart of the world, is Türkiye. Once we eliminate the 40-year-long scourge of terror, which seeks to pull down us whenever we make a move, our rise will inshallah turn into a leap forward. We will one way or another achieve our goal of a terror-free Türkiye. We will destroy the plans set through terrorist organizations.”
