“We are obtaining the results of our economic programme we have built on production and sustainable growth”
Speaking at AK Party’s Parliamentary Group Meeting, President Erdoğan said: “We are obtaining the results of our economic programme that we have built on investment, employment, production, exportation and sustainable growth. It seems that we will break a record in tourism this year both in the number of visitors and in income. Thanks be to Allah, we are making very strong progress in terms of exports as well.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting in Ankara.
“WE WILL BREAK A RECORD IN TOURISM THIS YEAR”
Drawing to the figures recently announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, President Erdoğan stated that according to the statistics of the third quarter of 2025, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was around 8.5 per cent, and said: “During the same quarter, our labor force increased to 35.568 million, and our employment to 32.558 million. Our unemployment rate has been remaining at single digit figures for 29 months. We are obtaining the results of our economic programme that we have built on investment, employment, production, exportation and sustainable growth. It seems that we will break a record in tourism this year both in the number of visitors and in income. Thanks be to Allah, we are making very strong progress in terms of exports as well. We increased our goods exports in the 22 of the past 30 months. With 24.911 billion dollars, we broke the Republican era record in July. Our exports in October 2025 increased by 2.3 per cent to 24 billion dollars.”
“WE WILL STAND WITH OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE RECONSTRUCTION OF SYRIA”
Underscoring that while they heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes, the biggest disaster of the century, and revive the quake-hit cities on one hand, they stand by the oppressed people in Palestine on the other, President Erdoğan noted that they work for peace in Ukraine, endeavor to stop the bloodshed in Sudan, and stand by all their brothers and sisters all across the world with all their means.
Drawing attention to their ongoing initiatives for lasting peace, security and prosperity in Syria, President Erdoğan went on to say: “We will inshallah stand with our brothers and sisters in the reconstruction of Syria, and will make both Türkiye and Syria grow bigger. Never forget that Syria’s security is our security. The security of Palestine, Sudan, Azerbaijan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Iraq, Iran and Ukraine is directly related to our security. Those with restricted horizons cannot understand this vision. Thanks be to Allah, we, with TIKA, the Presidency for Turks Abroad, Kızılay, the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the Maarif Foundation, the Turkish Airlines, our aid organizations, business people and contractors, are at every part of the world, making our presence felt at every part of the world.”
“WE WILL ACHIEVE OUR GOAL OF A TERROR-FREE TÜRKİYE”
Stressing that they have made Türkiye the shining star of its region in such a short period of time as 23 years, President Erdoğan pointed out that they are now at the threshold of even a much bigger leap forward, and added that with the terror-free Türkiye process, they will permanently and definitely free Türkiye from a half-century-old shackle, from a scourge that has claimed lives and consumed the country’s resources and energy.
Reminding that the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Committee held its 17th meeting the previous day, President Erdoğan voiced his appreciation for the Committee’s contributions to Türkiye’s democracy, unity and solidarity, and said: “I wholeheartedly believe that the Committee will take the most correct and the most accurate decision for Türkiye, for the secure future of Türkiye and for the unity and solidarity of our nation. I have no doubt that we, as the 86 million, will achieve our goal of a terror-free Türkiye and then a terror-free region sooner or later by joining forces and glorifying our unity and solidarity.”
