“We continue to sustain and develop our library heritage”

 

Speaking at the “Library 5.0: Human Re-Centered Digital Transformation” international conference, President Erdoğan said: “Today we further raise the bar each passing day with our educational institutions, from preschool to post-doctorate, our libraries and youth centers. By joining forces with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, our universities, foundations and local administrations, we continue to sustain and develop our library heritage.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the “Library 5.0: Human Re-Centered Digital Transformation” international conference at the Nation’s Library in Ankara.

President Erdoğan said: “Today we further raise the bar each passing day with our educational institutions, from preschool to post-doctorate, our libraries and youth centers. By joining forces with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, our universities, foundations and local administrations, we continue to sustain and develop our library heritage. We as the Presidency spearhead this process. We provided our Ankara and country with the Nation’s Library, which we are at currently, five years ago. We have made here the world’s third biggest library with 141.7 million resources, 5.1 million of them printed, including the digitalized publications.”
