“We determinedly and hopefully advance towards our goal of a terror-free Türkiye”

Speaking at the staff officers’ graduation ceremony at the National Defense University, President Erdoğan said: “We advance towards our goal of a terror-free Türkiye and a terror-free region in a determined, hopeful and cautious manner. We will inshallah all together have made Türkiye much stronger, much more influential and much more reputable once we achieve this goal of ours.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the staff officers’ graduation ceremony at the National Defense University in Istanbul.

Voicing his pleasure over coming together with the staff officers on the occasion of their graduation, President Erdoğan congratulated the 241 officers, 80 of them coming from brotherly and friendly countries, including Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Indonesia, Gambia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, North Macedonia, Mali, Mongolia, Pakistan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

“IT IS OUR MOST FUNDAMENTAL DUTY TO BUILD A STRONG AND GREAT TÜRKİYE”

Underscoring that Türkiye’s deep-rooted history, each page of which has been garnished with victories, virtue and equity, is full of numerous successes in terms of military wisdom and capability, President Erdoğan said: “It is our most fundamental duty to build a strong and great Türkiye, and carry these lands, entrusted to us by our martyrs and ghazis,  to the future in a much stronger manner. We maintain our works to that end with the strength and courage we have drawn from our glorious history and with the unshakeable confidence we have in our nation.”

“WE TAKE HISTORIC STEPS AIMED AT STRENGTHENING OUR UNITY”

President Erdoğan went on to say: “With our UAVs, UCAVs and high-tech land, air and sea vehicles as well as communication tools, we identify today’s war concept as well. On the other hand, we consolidate our domestic front and take historic steps aimed at strengthening our unity, well-being and influence. With these steps, we advance towards our goal of a terror-free Türkiye and a terror-free region in a determined, hopeful and cautious manner. We will inshallah all together have made Türkiye much stronger, much more influential and much more reputable once we achieve this goal of ours.”

“NO ONE SHOULD SINK INTO DESPAIR”

Stressing that the severe challenges experienced by the people in the region, particularly those in Gaza and Syria, should not worry anyone, President Erdoğan noted: “No one should sink into despair by the recklessness of those who seek to drag our region into blood, massacres, atrocities and tears. We have faced many challenges, have overcome many crises and have resisted numerous scourges. We have dealt with many betrayals both at home and abroad. And yet, thanks be to Allah, we have coped with all of them.”

“We, as Turks, Kurds and Arabs, will inshallah open up a new page in our vast geography, at the heart of which will be stability, justice, freedom and cooperation, not oppression or conflicts. We as the eternal residents of this geography will join forces, close ranks, not fall for fitna makers, not fall into traps, and will inshallah all together tear apart the dirty scenarios against our region,” President Erdoğan stated.

Prior to the graduation ceremony, President Erdoğan inaugurated the six new mosques built on the premises of the National Defense University and affiliated units.
