“We have delivered their new homes to two out of every three eligible citizens in the earthquake zone”
Speaking at a ceremony for key delivery of the 300,000th post-quake house and mass opening of newly-completed investments, President Erdoğan said: “Today in Malatya, we are handing over the keys to the 300,000th home. As of today, we have delivered their new homes to two out of every three eligible citizens in the earthquake zone.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a ceremony for key delivery of the 300,000th post-quake house and mass opening of newly-completed investments in Malatya.
Recalling that Malatya was one of the provinces most affected by the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, President Erdoğan said: “That night, unfortunately, we experienced one of the most devastating disasters in world history. In 11 provinces, we laid 53,737 of our loved ones to rest with great sorrow.”
“WE WILL WORK TIRELESSLY UNTIL EVERY SINGLE CITIZEN HAS A NEW HOME”
Noting that the keys to the 300,000th home in the quake-hit zone were delivered today in Malatya, President Erdoğan said: “As of today, we have delivered their new homes to two out of every three eligible citizens in the earthquake zone.”
“Inshallah, we aim to complete 453,000 independent units in the quake-hit zone by the end of the year. We will work tirelessly until every single citizen has a new home and a new workplace,” President Erdoğan said.
Stating that they also inaugurated 41 projects completed across Malatya, President Erdoğan said: “With these investments, totaling 5 billion 940 million in investment value, we are introducing a whole new look in Malatya.”
“WE ARE PREPARED FOR ANY DARK SCENARIO”
Underlining that they are working patiently, sincerely, and calmly for a Türkiye where no sorrow befalls homes, no mothers' hearts are scorched with the pain of losing a child, and no laments rise from any household in Türkiye, President Erdoğan said: “As we approach our goal, we see that the intensity of the attacks has also begun to increase. Those who thrive on bloodshed, conflict, and instability have accelerated their campaigns in recent times.”
With regard to the goal of a terror-free Türkiye, President Erdoğan said: “We are prepared for any dark scenario. We will not fall into the trap that is being set for us. We will not sacrifice the process we have woven thread by thread with ancient state wisdom and political experience to passions, miscalculations, and imperialist games.”
Stating that the warlords and terror barons will not achieve their goals, President Erdoğan said; “By tearing down the wall of terror that looms over our children's lives, our struggle to consolidate our internal front will continue with the same determination. Our brotherhood will grow stronger, our affection will increase, and our solidarity will, inshallah, be cemented. New windows will open before Türkiye and our region.”
