“We support all our youth producing and seeking to contribute to our country”

 

Speaking at 2025 TÜBA and TÜBİTAK Awards Ceremony, President Erdoğan said: “We support all our youth, who learn, teach, produce and seek to contribute to our country, with our National Space Program, National and International Outstanding Researchers Programs as well as our scholarship, internship, training and workshop programs at different levels.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the Awards Ceremony of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) in Ankara. 

“We support all our youth, who learn, teach, produce and seek to contribute to our country, with our National Space Program, National and International Outstanding Researchers Programs as well as our scholarship, internship, training and workshop programs at different levels,” President Erdoğan stated, and added: “We have gained a really significant momentum with our National Technology Initiative. We brought together millions of our youth with science, technology and innovation at the 13th TEKNOFEST we held last September. We have provided our 81 provinces with libraries and science, training and youth centers as well as universities. We have increased the usage area of libraries from 325 thousand square meters to 800 thousand in seven years. With the ones to be opened, we aim to increase our total usage area of libraries to over 1 million square meters and seating capacity to over 200 thousand in 2026.”
