“We will definitely achieve single digits in inflation”

 

Addressing TISK’s 29th Ordinary General Assembly, President Erdoğan said: “Under the guidance of the Medium Term Program, we will definitely achieve single digits in inflation, which is our ultimate goal. Throughout this process, we will give ear to the real sector’s recommendations, demands and criticisms, as we have always done.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 29th Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) in Ankara.

“In November, we are faced with a picture in inflation that raises our hopes. The 0.87 percent monthly inflation in November shows we are on the right path. There has been a gradual recovery in the pricing behavior, the deterioration of which is one of the underlying causes of the high cost of life. Our fight against opportunism continues at full pace. Under the guidance of the Medium Term Program, we will definitely achieve single digits in inflation, which is our ultimate goal. Throughout this process, we will give ear to the real sector’s recommendations, demands and criticisms, as we have always done,” President Erdoğan said.
