“We will free our nation from the post-coup constitution shame”
Addressing a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “Just as we cornered the putschists in the squares with the July 15 resistance, just as we consolidated the national will with the Presidential System of Government, and just as we removed all the shadows of tutelage over ballot boxes, we will inshallah definitely free our nation from the shame of the post-coup constitution as well.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech during a meeting with the party’s provincial heads in Ankara.
Stating that he remembers with grace and gratitude Adnan Menderes, Hasan Polatkan and Fatin Rüştü Zorlu on the 65th anniversary of the dark intervention in the Turkish democracy, President Erdoğan said: “I want it to be known that just as we cornered the putschists in the squares with the July 15 resistance, just as we consolidated the national will with the Presidential System of Government, and just as we removed all the shadows of tutelage over ballot boxes, we will inshallah definitely free our nation from the shame of the post-coup constitution as well.”

Drawing attention to the efforts aimed at the terror-free Türkiye goal, President Erdoğan noted that once that goal is achieved, Türkiye will make huge leap-forwards, especially in the areas of economy, freedoms and diplomacy, and added: “Our state’s all institutions, all cadres, our security units in particular, know very well what they are doing. And I want you to know it that once we achieve the goal of terror-free Türkiye, not only a specific class or segment, but the entire 86 million will win. Those, who have paid a price for the sake of our homeland, as well as our ghazis and the relatives of our martyrs will win.”

“We have made new achievements in security, foreign policy, energy, economy, fight against inflation, healthcare, tourism, education and in many other areas. We have recently shared yet another good news regarding energy with our nation. We have discovered 75-billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves in the Göktepe-3 well as a result of the 49-day-long works of our 7th generation drilling vessel Abdülhamit Han. Do you know its economic value? We have taken a new step towards our energy independence with this nearly 30-billion-dollar worth of new discovery,” President Erdoğan said.
