“We work day and night to make Türkiye one of the most powerful actors of the new century”

 

Speaking at a commemoration for Atatürk, President Erdoğan said: “From education to agriculture, foreign policy to defense industry, health to economy, we, as the government, work day and night to make Türkiye one of the most powerful actors of the new century.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at a commemoration ceremony held by the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History on the 87th anniversary of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing to eternity.

Recalling the statement, “After the victory we won with bayonets through blood and weapons, we will endeavor to achieve victory in areas such as culture, science, technics and economy,” which Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made as he laid out the roadmap for the state to follow following the War of Independence, President Erdoğan said: “This statement, which preserves its validity for 102 years, continues to guide us all in our efforts to serve our country and nation.”

President Erdoğan went on to say: “From education to agriculture, foreign policy to defense industry, health to economy, we, as the government, work day and night to make Türkiye one of the most powerful actors of the new century. If today we have our own tanks and artillery as well as our own UAVs and UCAVs, if today we are exporting our KAAN jets to various countries of the world, if today we have rendered our planes capable of competing with the world, all these manifest one thing, meaning that we are ready to compete with the whole world through cutting-edge tanks and artillery. We are building the Century of Türkiye with our giant investments rising in every inch of the 783 thousand sq km and with the projects and services we provide for our nation.”
