“Women constitute the backbone of the society”

Addressing an iftar dinner on International Women’s Day, President Erdoğan said: “In our faith and civilization, women constitute the backbone of both the society and the family. We see that our women have been present at all the watershed moments in our history.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at an iftar dinner on International Women’s Day in Istanbul.
“I RESPECTFULLY GREET AND CONGRATULATE GAZA’S BRAVE WOMEN”
President Erdoğan stated: “I once again extend our messages of solidarity to all women, all mothers, and all our sisters fighting for survival and for their honor in different parts of our kindred geography spanning Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Africa, Asia and Turkistan. On behalf of my country’s women, I respectfully greet and congratulate Gaza’s brave women who put up a heroic resistance against oppression and build victory brick by brick despite the genocide gang’s massacres.”

Wishing patience to the mothers and wives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, President Erdoğan stressed, “We will continue our efforts to completely eradicate the scourge of terrorism from this nation and utilize all the tools at our disposal for this purpose,” and added: “We will all witness peaceful and secure days when the dark and bloody shadow of terrorism is lifted from our country and region, and brotherhood prevails.”
